Why does the message lack a very important part and that part is respect for other members of the
body? there seems to be a lack of Godly love for the other faiths that
honor the blood of the Lamb. Do we abuse the message of the Blood or count
is as less important to our salvation?? Just a few thoughts I wanted
to share.
I write:
This is the idea evelyn to try and respect other members that love
the Lord, as Apollos was, in Acts, who they took apart and showed
him the way of the Lord more perfectly. We need to not forget that
it is the blood of Jesus Christ that cleanses us from all sin.
Faith and believing are also very important, as is justification,
redemption, etc. We can concentrate on certain doctrines and forget
to emphasize other doctrines. I believe sometimes Apostolics get into
this way because other faiths also don't respect Apostolics and call
us heresy, etc. This is not an excuse for our behaviour but I believe
it is a reaction. We show lack of confidence in what we believe by
resorting to such methods, as do others such as trinitarians when
they attack without scripture basis. Saying they have nothing is just
not scriptural as when they of other faiths say we have nothing. Let
us stay in the book in all our dialogue among us or with others and
we will be much more effective in communicating our message, teaching
the truth with love, not throwing the compromise word around or worse
every time we are frustrated of our lack of Bible knowledge or the
perceived resistance to truth that we think we find in others. Keep
up the good work Evelyn.
