Concern about Contention

Some have written concerned about contention.  I, too am grieved.  I also
feel that the Spirit of God is grieved.  I never would have dreamed that
in an Apostolic forum we would be debating the very basis of our faith (
Whether Acts 2:38 is the salvation message.)  While standing and speaking
for the salvation message, I know I am taking a risk.  What if those of
us who believe that Acts 2:38 is the salvation message decided to not
stand ( or even be silent)? ( I am not advocating contention.)  I believe
that those who are against it would take over this forum and those who
are lurking around would never hear that Acts 2:38 is salvation and that
is why I believe I must speak.  I am very, very sorry for those who are
grieved at heart. Please pray for unity in the kingdom of God and pray
for those of us who are writing. It is my deepest hope that we all could
be "of one mind".
