Here is Strong's Definition:

2235  zeroa` (zay-ro'-ah);
or zera` on (zay-raw-ohn'); from 2232; something sown (only in the
plural), i.e. a vegetable (as food): 
KJV-- pulse. 
***. zer` oah. See 2220.

Col 2:16 says:
16	Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of
an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:

I'm not sure if seafood would be categorized as "meat" by the Lord since
He Himself ate it quite frequently. The Gospel accounts indicates this.
It certainly would not be categorized as a "fruit" or "vegetable." So
the logical conclusion is that it must be meat...
