I think that many might confuse *salvation* with the infilling of the
Holy Ghost. This is what I mean.

There are groups out there that preach the baptism of the Holy Ghost (being
filled with the Spirit) but might not have other qualities of what we have
grown to know an love as apostolic. They may even baptize in F-S-&-H.G.
They might even not require baptism, etc.

People receive the Holy Ghost (same H.G. as you and I with evidence of
speaking in another tonuge) but they still lack because they don't allow
the H.G. to lead and guide them into *all* truth. I'll believe in their
receiving the H.G. as I feel it in my spirit that what they have is the
genuine article. But I also realize that if they don't allow the H.G. to
take them further towards truth, the H.G. will probably go dormant in them
and be of little or none effect. *Salvation* has come to them. Whether
they do anything with it or not, it's up to them. To folks like this,
I'd say that they are only partially through the "Spiritual Birth Canal".
They are just not done getting *born again* yet. They have some of the
elements.... but not all of them. Maybe you can call them "Spiritual
Preemies" as they need someone to come along and explain to them a more
perfect way. Certainly alive with some "new life". But not able to be
a fully viable functioning christian with all of the armor of God at
his/her disposal for the warfare that would eventually happen.

Look at all of the attention that preemies get in the hospital to make
sure they get to go home with their mothers and fathers. They are warmed
to temperature. They are ventilated. They are introveniously fed and
medicated. They are cleansed. They are dressed. Everything about them
is *less* than what's normal had the gestation been allowed to go on through
to it's natural 40 week completion. Being warmed, ventilated, and fed via
mechanical means isn't exactly what I'd call *quality of life* ... although
it's still life and it's still precious. Still, skilled professionals are
needed to be there to monitor the warmth, ventilation, and intravenious
intake.

Sadly, the spiritual world outside of the apostolic pentecostal realm
doesn't have the *spiritual professionals* to take proper care of the
*spiritual preemies* born amongst their midst. They can approximate and
assimilate, but they can't quite pull it off except they learn the more
perfect way themselves.

It's also sad to say, that there's many *so-called spiritual professionals*
inside of the apostolic movement that can't care for the new births that
happen right in front of them. They can only take them as far as gestation
and birth... from then on, the new babe has to fend for themselves.

But then, there's a whole lot of good professional spiritual help available
at the local apostolic assemblies.

Spiritual preemies are certainly born, but not to the same quality of life
that we know and love. Some allow themselves to be guided into the truth
and make it just fine. Some experience a form of spiritual SIDS as the
infant in God never receives the spiritual meat and drink they need to grow.
This is where the apostolic world needs to step in and give assistance in
a manner that doesn't *discount* and *embarass* others for their lack of
understanding and practices. Do physicians say about others "Boy, that guy
was a real bone-head. He shouldn't have yanked those tonsils out with a
pair of vice-grips and a keyhole saw". No. He remains professional. He
then starts damage control to keep the loss at a minimum all the while trying
to build on something that brings the body to health.

I think, and I have to admit that I've not followed the thread much because
of their volume and my lack of time, that's the general *gist* that Bro
Starcher has been trying tro bring across. He's trying to bridge those
gaps of prejudice, bias, and ignorance in a spirit that doesn't offend
others to the point that they'll try the more perfect way instead of not
being open to it.
