You're certainly right. Jesus died for all, but in order for us to have
salvation,
we have to make a conscious and sincere "confession" of our faith in Jesus
Christ, his shed blood, and spiritual renewing.
Just 'cause we "say" we are saved doesn't make it so. There is a life that
must follow, and fruit that must be beared.
