I don't want to speak for Bro. Shaw (nor do I think I could) But I just
don't see the unity here.Bro Shaw seems to believe the absolute essentiality
of repentance, Jesus Name Baptism and the infilling of the Holy Ghost for the
saving of ones soul. And unless the Lord decides to introduce a new program,
this is the only way to salvation in the scriptures. On the contrary, you
seem to believe that there are multiple "realities," and that since Bro. Shaw
believes the way he does, that is salvation for him (in his reality).
I am sorry, but there is only one reality God's reality. The law was a
school master to bring us to Christ, and in it we learn that God is an
exacting God. We learn that even though people may be sincere in their
attempt to do "the right thing" their sincerity often met with catastrophe.
The very idea that someone worshiping false a image of what God is will be
saved is nothing short of heresy. The Trinitarians that some seem to want so
much to cuddle with are lost. They have not had their sins remitted and they
worship a false God. It amazes me how some are allowing Trinitarians behind
their pulpits to "teach" us about church growth and what not...they don't even
know what the church is!...they don't even know who God is. If you think I am
a little rough here read the thirteenth chapter of Deut. and see what God
thinks about God's people worshipping with the heathen.
I don't see unity here Bro. Starcher, I see polarization.
