Regarding Children who kill...

I live right next door to Springfield (Eugene) Oregon!  It was terrible news
last week which I followed on the radio!  The young boy who shot his parents
and then went to school the next day and shot all of those kids there is a
very troubled and disturbed young man.

What I think is so sad about the whole situation, is that now they show
pictures  in the paper of teenagers holding hands and praying.  The mayor of
Springfield called for a time of prayer for the victims and even had a
"Prayer" Breakfast.  We are asked to keep remembering them "in
prayer"...................the sad part is now they ask for prayer, if prayer
would have been asked for before the shooting, people here would have been
yelling and screaming about seperation of church and state!

What a terrible time for our community and our country when our young people
are killing each other with no show of mercy or caring.  All of the violence
on T.V. and all of the killing that they can do in video games does away with
any sense of feeling they might have once had.   You can get computer games
that let you kill or hurt just about anyone you want to anymore.   

I wonder when will America wake up?   We are a society that has turned our
backs on God and then expect God to keep us safe when we need it!   Pray for
our churches here in Springfield and Eugene.  We need to reach these kids with
truth and love.........the devil has already reached them with lies and hate!
