Regarding Children who kill...

Just a little more to add about the shooting in our community.

Yes, the police did show up and, from my understanding, the dad came and got
his son (I don't know if he picked him up from school or from the police
station).  They figure the dad was killed shortly after he brought his son
home and the mom was killed a couple of hours later when she came home.

And, yes, they are calling for gun control.   I can't really understand this
because it was the boy that pulled the trigger.  The gun didn't walk in and
start shooting.  What if he would have taken his dad's car (which he did take
and drive to the school the next morning) and run over 20 or 30 kids that were
standing outside talking.  Would they be calling for "car" control?  I doubt
it!

What we need is "kid" control!   My parents had it!   And I am trying to have
it with my son.  It's not easy.  And sometimes I feel like I just can't
continue to work on him!  I get so tired.  But I do know that it is my
responsibility to "train" him up!   Pray for all of us parents as we endeavor
to teach our children in the things of the Lord.  I want my son to love the
Lord with all of his heart!
