Dear Sister Sharon,

I have been through some of the same things you speak of and hope my
input can help you some.

First, recognize that you are very valuable. There is no one that can
take your place in the kingdom of God.  You alone have the talents that
can do the job God has set for you.  We need you and your church needs
you.

Second, not everything that happens that is bad is your fault. Realize
that others have faults. Seeing that others have faults is not
faultfinding but knowing the truth.  (Faultfinding is when someone finds
fault just to lift themselves up.)

Thirdly, learn to say when you need help( in a humble attitude) and
realize that needing help is only human.  You have done the right thing
by writing and saying that you have a need. There are those who have
offered an ear. Sometimes you just need someone to listen and there is
nothing wrong with that.  It is a normal human need.  

Fourth, if you state your needs and those who should meet them do not,
realize that it has nothing to do with your worth as a person. You
deserve to have your needs met as much as anyone else in this world.  It
is their problem.

Fifth,  above all, do not backslide.  You may have emotional pain deluxe,
but go to church, praise God with all your might and He will deliver you.
 Pray and fast but don't overdo it. ( Be moderate in all things.)  It is
hard when you are hurting but you can't change other people.  

Finally, one day, God may use you to bring revival in your city. Your
compassion for others (which you understand because of your pain) can
give you a ministry unique to you and you alone.
