neckties and neclaces

Not defending jewelry, but, does it make a difference on the material that
the outward adornment is made of? And if we put a time peace on the
necklace, would it then be alright since it had a purpose? A nose ring
would be a very effective way to be lead around by a husband or wife. It
seems to work very well with a old bull. <G>
