It seems that women have enough trouble with wardrobes now as it is.  Why in the world would we want to add one more problem by trying to find necklaces to match the outfits we buy?!!  It already takes twice the money to dress the women and girls than the men and boys.  Seems to me the money would be better spent elsewhere.  Besides, a scarf is the equivalent of a necktie anyway.
