In the book of Acts Cornelius, his family and friends received the Holy
Ghost *before* they were baptized in the name of Jesus. We know
Jesus said in his Word that the Holy Ghost would reveal Jesus. I know
of a man who was baptized into the Trinity doctrine and had received the
Holy Ghost _but_ when the truth was revealed to him, out of obedience
to the Word [Acts 2:38] he was baptized in the name of Jesus. The Holy
Ghost is designed to reveal Jesus to us and lead us into all truths. When
I come across someone who won't be baptized in the name of Jesus
then I realize this has not been revealed to him/her. Cornelius received
the Holy Ghost because he and his family and friends received the
preaching of Jesus Christ.
