The Ethiopian revival, like so many others (we could mention Columbia
and other S. American lands), emerged from the background of severe
persecution. Churches burned by Evangelical trinitarians and severe
persecution from Coptics and traditionalists: these were the
experiences of the church in the places where the greatest outputing
of the Holy Ghost the world has ever seen.

Now, many, many of those same congregations which persecuted the
people of God are baptized in Jesus' name and serving Him as the True
God.

The point made here is well taken. We do not value the civil
government adequately. God gave us the Constitution and blessings and
morality so as to provide a covering for a great end-time church which
could reach out and do missions work across the world.

Now that the USA is among the neediest of nations, should we
anticipate that this protection should be removed, and the true nature
of antichrist be revealed? It would not be strange, would it?

The religious have always persecuted the children of faith, from Cain,
to Ishmael to Caiphus.

Herod was beloved of the religious. John gave him no quarter and paid.
The Jews were not sorry to see the son of Zacharias disappear. There
is a convenient relationship between religion and the spirit of the
world, but God will separate the confederacy.

The laws we now live under are a great blessing. God knows best, and
also knows when His blessings are a hinderance to His plan.
