Praise the Lord Saints

I thought I would share with you an incident in my Church where God can
turn a tragedy into victory.

Bro. And Sis. , Shawn and Kelly King last Nov., lost their 11-year-old
boy in an auto accident. His name was Seth. The men were working at the
church remodeling the sanctuary. Seth had the choice of going to a
birthday party where my son and all the other boys of the Church were or
going to the church to work with his dad. He chose to go to Church. So
his great-grandmother picked him up, traveling about dusk not seeing an
old truck that had parked half way on the shoulder of the road, they hit
it head on going 50 miles an hour. Seth died almost instantly. The
grandmother survived.

But God had his hand on this situation. There was a man standing on this
road waiting for his ride home from work, he rushed over to the accident
and laid hands on Seth and prayed. Seth died in his arms. When the
police arrived, he asked if he could go with them to tell sister Kelly,
he sad he was a minister. The news was broken to Kelly, he asked if Kelly
wanted to pray she said please, soon she was speaking in tongues, she
received much strength from the lord.

We found out later this minister's name was Bro. Brown you see when Shawn
and Kelly were first saved in a church in another town Bro. Brown was a
young preacher there. He had anointed Seth when he was a newborn and
dedicated him to the Lord. The Kings were only in that Church just a
few days before they moved. They didn't know they knew each other until
several days later. It was a great comfort to Sis Kelly knowing there
was a Holy Ghost filled man praying for Seth when the lord took him.
Bro. Brown works all over the central part of Indiana, the day before the
accident he specified requested to work on a project close to the Kings.
At the time he did not know why. God Surly is Great.

It was hard on the whole Church, but there is great revival among the
young people. I do not believe there are any young people from five on
up who are not baptized and filled with the Holy Ghost. It was no
accident the man who dedicated Seth and who works a hundred-mile radius,
was standing fifty feet from the accident.

I know it's not along the lines of the conversation but I hope this might
be of some encouragement to someone.

Bro. Jeff
