Greetings Kay in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ,

I'm glad you understood my post. I am an African American in
accordance with what the "world" has labeled me, but in Christ Jesus I
am a new creature. In the kingdom of God there is neither male nor
female.... because Jesus made of _all_ nations ***one*** blood when he
died on the cross and arose in power.

Dr. Martin Luther King, I believe was inspired by Jesus to bring in the Civil
Rights movement because his movement was _nonviolent_. Since that
time _men_ have gotten into it and perverted it. Only through the
_agape_ love can peace be obtained. Jesus tells us to love one another
as he has loved us. Jesus has washed away my sins and forgiven me,
he requires me to forgive others or else he won't forgive me.

I come from a military background and even before I was saved my
parents taught us that people were people and not to judge someone just
because of the color of their skin. Certain issues would bother me when
I would hear my race complaining about their situation and blaming
someone else for their problems. I was always taught and still believe if
you put Jesus first, work hard and do your best, Jesus will always lift
you up above your situation. I ran head on into racism when I was in the
military but racism is a spirit from Satan - the spirit of hate.

Before Jesus saved me I was in a situation where I was being harassed
- borderline racism - but Jesus used this to bring me to him. The people I
was dealing with did not change, the change was made inside of me.
Jesus began to dwell in me and I truly was able to care for, pray for and
love the people I was dealing with. Jesus lifted me above the situation
and put me on top. He truly made me the head and not the tail. Not
because I'm soooo good but because He keeps those that are his. You
see Satan was my enemy not the people. So many times Satan has us
looking at one another, blaming one another, "She did this to me", "He
said that to me", and on and on. When in actuality it is Satan - who deals
with our flesh - pushing a button that he knows will get someone upset.
But when you walk after the Spirit then you know Satan and his devices.
When he comes in with one of his lies, the Holy Ghost will show you
and you can uncover him. Shed light on him [with the Word] and he
flees.

Walking in the Spirit is a must in order to make it. Adam and Eve were
walking in the Spirit - at one with Jesus - then here comes *ole water
head* Satan and takes God's word and perverts it, turns it into a lie.
Then Eve and Adam begin to take part of their senses and *look* at the
tree, *smell* the tree, *touch* the tree and finally *taste* the fruit of the
tree. By *hearing* what Satan whispered and listening to him the fall of
man took place. Adam and Eve began their own reasoning process
which is far below the spiritual life they held before. Next thing they did
was blame each other for their fall.

Jesus instructs us to think on those things which are of a _good_ report.
Think on those things which are good (1) no more sitting at the back of
the bus, (2) no more drinking out of special water fountains, (3) both
white and black banned together to bring about the freedom we now
possess, (4) a child can go to any school he/she desires if the grades
are good enough and on and on. We cannot change what happened in
the past but we can press toward the mark of the high calling of God in
Christ Jesus and know that _all_ things work together for the good of
them that love God and are the called according to his purpose.

_Yes_ America has her problems but it starts with the church - the body
of Christ. When the church _stopped_ praying and started programs
then a falling away from the truth began, subtle at first [as we know our
enemy Satan is subtle].

If we could love as Jesus loves - Jesus didn't condemn the woman who
was caught in the act of adultery nor did he agree with her sin. He told
her to go and sin no more.

I have five brothers [three older, two younger] and three older sisters.
Three of my brothers are married to white women. I've never had a
problem with it because as long as they are happy I am happy - even if I
did have a problem with it - it isn't any of my business. The Bible gives
instructions concerning a marriage that God puts together. The man is to
leave his mother and his father and cleave to his wife. It doesn't matter if
mother and father, sister and brother, aunt or uncle approve. What God
has joined together will stand the test of time. There are "world" issue to
deal with in an interracial marriage which as long as the people know
who they are in Christ are not a problem.

Jesus even instructs us to know _no_ man after the flesh, not even
Jesus Christ! History has it place and should be kept in perspective. If
the Bible were taught in schools as it used to be then every one would
know that _all_ have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God and
would have the revelation that these are only our _earth suits_ the real
Sister Mary is the spirit being which dwells in this house. Glory!

I hope you understand what I have written - I have a habit of rambling
sometimes [smiles]!

God bless and keep you in the Love of Jesus Christ,

Sister Mary
