Holy Ghost Crusade vs. Bertha

Despite Bertha's overpowering attempts to squelch out the 1996 Tidewater
Holy Ghost crusade with hurricane winds, rain and tornadoes the Apostolics
in Virginia's Tidewater District bound together through power outtages,
flood waters and devasting storms to pray through 117+ people to the Holy
Ghost. As the winds outside were blowing and screaming through the air,
inside the Holy Ghost winds were blowing and tongues like as of fire sat
upon each of them. It was a true Modern Day Pentecost. Leading the whole
procession was one who had came to set the captive free; one who gave His
life so that we might have ours; one that had a name above every name:
JESUS. It is to Him that we are truly thankful and to whom all honor is due.
When everyone else left and sook refuge in their homes from the blowing
storms, He came and said "PEACE BE STILL" to the storms in the lives of
those 117+ people. Should Bertha have never came we surely would have seen
tons more receive this precious gift of the Holy Ghost, but even if it were
only one wouldn't it still have been worth it all?

It is time for America to have revival. We've watched for the past years as
countries overseas are having great, awesome moves and outpourings of the
Holy Ghost. And we wonder why America is not. This is our time. We sing
songs like Whatever It Takes and feel the compelling of God's Spirit to
reach the lost; but when we wake up on Monday morning that compelling is
made subject to Fear. I don't know about you, but I want to be a part of
this modern day revival. The Holy Ghost is real.. how to do I know???
Because I have it down in my soul.!!

Sceptics say it isn't for us today and it's not necessary. But I would
rather seek to find out for sure from someone who has the Holy Ghost instead
of someone who never knew. I would not go to a plumber to find out how to
get rid of a cold; I'd go to the doctor! And as children sometimes never
know if they like food just by the looks of it; they know by tasting of it.

Oh taste and see that the Lord is good.!
