On Monday, July 15, frank@bkm.ca wrote to ask about Dr. Bill Hamon-- whether
he is Oneness or not.

First, the facts as I know them. Bill's path crossed mine in 1951 or 52 when
he came to the Yakima Valley and married Evelyn Hixon, of Toppenish, WA.
Evelyn's family had been the Church there at the time the whole group had
been re-baptized into the Name of Jesus in the mid 40's. The Pastor, Bill
Christenson, made the news public at a Fellowship meeting in Yakima. I was
there to hear it.

I was present when Bill and Evelyn were married by her Grandfather, who was a
Oneness preacher.

Bill and Evelyn served as Pastors of the Toppenish Church after their first
child, Timothy, was born. Bro. Jim Davenport is presently Pastor there. We
were Pastoring in Yakima at the time.

Now, I can not vouch for what Bill teaches at present. I do know that when
the book Eternal Church was published in 1981 we visited in their home in
Phoenix. He autographed my copy of the book. He was, at that time, still
very much Oneness.

The book, however, was not written to stress Oneness. The emphasis was on
the development of the Church through the years since Pentecost.

Ethel Goss did not stress Oneness in her biography of Howard Goss in "Winds
Of God" either. It was not written for that purpose.

Hope this helps.
