I've indicated that I'm mixed race, but I really doubt in many cases
that the situtation is one of "control" or racial purity or anything
like that. I believe people who discourage interracial marriages do
so, like they say, out of concern for any children they may have.

I've indicated this has not been a problem for me, but I've also seen
situations of people like me who have received some amount of
persecution because of their mixed background or lack of any cultural
identity. Because of their experiences, they discourage interracial
marriages. I will freely confess that, to me, any ethnic identity is
not important, especially since I have a new identity given to me by
Christ.

I'm the type of guy who has always kind of "fit in" to all the groups.
When I was in high school, I hung out with the computer nerd types, but
I got along equally with the sport jocks and cheerleaders too.

Everyone, please extend a little grace to your Brothers and Sisters
before making accusations in the future.

Thank you.
