Bro. Richard spake thusly,

* Tyler and I have hereby and somewhat officially designated Bro Mark
* Kendrick <tecainc@wolfe.net> of Yakima Washington as the somewhat
* officially designated designee for the position of Higher-Fire FAQ
* creator and designer, keeper of the faith, protector of small children,
* etc.

I really don't know the volume of the email needed to put together
this FAQ, but with Bro. Mark sharing the email account with others,
if he has access to a Windows 3.1 machine (or greater), with a modem,
then he can install the software from Juno so that he can have a free
email account from which he can carry out this task.

He (or others for all that matters) can retrieve the software from
anonymous ftp by first going to an anonymous ftp database and finding
out where the various downloadables (via ftp) are:

            http://ftpsearch.ntnu.no/ftpsearch

Entering "juno.zip" in the search field and then press "submit".
When you view the list of ftp sites with it, the current juno software
is contained on a 3.5" disk at about 1.3 MB of space. So look for
downloadable software around that size. Then all you have to do then
is to click on the line that has the software you want to download and
*whalla*, you've got it shortly thereafter.

Current listings that fit this are (the output doesn't look like this - I've
beutified it somewhat):

All you'd have to do is "unzip" the file after it's downloaded and
then run "SETUP.EXE" to perform the installation. Very simple.

As of the writing of this post to H-F, there's 10 people subscribed to
the list that's on Juno, 11 on America On-Line, and 2 on Compuserve
out of about 150 subscribers. Being as Juno's only been doing this a
very short period of time, I'd say that's pretty good.

Sorry for the *shameless* information about this. It's o.k. with Juno to
copy the software and distribute freely among friends in case you have friends
that'd like to have a *free* email account as well (heh, heh, heh... to join
in the H-F discussions with other apostolics).

I hope I've not annoyed you all too much with this information. I'm just
trying to grow our group a little.

Bro. Tyler
