Bernard's scholarship and the assumptions of certain modal monarchians were.
I have nothing personal against Bernard nor anyone on h-f, but neither his
theology nor anyone else's (even mine) is above such criticism. Suffice it
to say that if one is to fling around the charges of "pantheism", or
"tritheism"  you'd better have something pretty substantive to back it up. 

And BTW, contrary to popular opinion, modal monarchianism does NOT hold
exclusive rights to the "Christian Monotheism" label.
