As the maintainer of the Higher-Fire Archives, I am requesting that we
all remember that this list is being archived in a publicly accessible
WWW brwosable archive at:
http://eli.wariat.org/upc/net/higher-fire/index.html
both chronologically, and by subject. If the subject is prefixxed
with "Re: " it does not change the sort order, neither does
upper/lower case differences, but wording differences will cause the
post to be grouped differently.
In the interest of those trying to follow a conversation in the
archives, it would be nice if replies had the same subject as the
posting being replied to, unless, of course, the topic has actually
changed, in which case the example above is excellent.
PS: The archive is also searchable from Alta Vista, and the search
window on the archives home page above is pre-loaded to constrain the
search to the archive. You can even scarf these lines and put them
into your own home page for fast access.
