To quote Bro. Westburg, "If you want people to know that you are married,
ACT MARRIED!".
I am not willing to make wedding rings into a salvational issue. I do think
that it is wrong however-- just like other jewelery. (I have heard of UPC
churches that wear class rings, etc.)
Why *should* someone wear a wedding ring? Is it *really* neccesary to wear
a ring of gold to show marriage to the outside world? Why? Will it prevent
you from some form of sin? Does it separate you from the world?
I believe that we need to be very careful about what traditions we take from
the world. Wearing a wedding ring because that is how the world chooses to
show fidelity is not necessarily appropriate-- it should be in accordanceto
the Word of God.

Sometimes I lie awake at night, and I ask, "Where have I gone wrong?"
Then a voice says to me, "This is going to take more than one night."
