   Something that should be considered  in the issue of wearing a ring, is
that the Father in the story of the prodigal son gave the returning son a
ring as a sign of his reconciliation and restoration. The father in this
story represents our Heavenly Father, and I cannot picture Jesus using an
illustration of our Heavenly Father doing something that is against his
word. If a ring is sinful then the Father would not have
given his son a ring in this story.
