Amen. I am with you here, for the reason that although I believe in
abstaining from jewellery I see a wedding ring as more than adornment. It
tells a message and whilst I understand that the ring itself does not make
you married any more than carrying a bible makes you a christian, I belive
that they are appropriate if kept within modest boundaries. (Now legislating
modest is an area that fills me with dread!)
