I was all set to write in and loudly agree with what you had to say. I too
think black gospel of the older variety is about as anointed as music gets.
But, I think that in addition to setting guidelines concerning music, that
it is necessary to fill those youth with Scripture so that they will
understand why the guidelines are in place. Many youth today are expected
to follow the standards of the past without the teaching that came in the
past.
So while you can't go wrong with good black gospel, make sure that there is
provision for teaching also.
