Bro. Rob spake about what I wrote about my pastor about beards:

I think he does identify beards as rebellious for the reason that, many
many moons ago (even prior to when I and the Sis. Treva stated going
12 years ago) a band of motorcycle riders came thru town, was touched by
the gospel, baptized in Jesus name, filled with the Holy Ghost (in a couple
of the riders) then went back out causing trouble after only a little while
in the church.  His bias is based on distancing the church (back then) to
the actions and dress of the motorcycle gang that was welcomed in (at the
time).  I can understand his philosophy in the matter and I don't hold it
against him.
