Around these parts theres a recognizable style seen a mile away.. And
it relates to thin ___ men who wear beards, almost always cut the same
way.

Moving on ... grizzly face types scare some people in this society.
Hell's Angels Rock & rollers ..etc etc.. the list goes on and on.
Yeah, theres lots of good reasons for church to separate from some
"styles"... but since theres no Bible on the matter, ONE IMPORTANT
THING totally crushed any liklihood of seeing the "no-beard" thing
progress in the church.

That is, black men wear beards. You dont have an integrated church?
You soon will, because God wills it. Black men are going to come in
wearing beards, as *most* they do in virtually every culture. If not a
beard, a mustache. Are you going to tell them to get rid of this
cultural trait? No way pal.

Is it a cultural trait? better than that. Its genetic... Now you are
thinking I am a REAL nut..

Take a little survey of your black friends (if you have any) someday..
Every see your friend's neck with all that scaring and burn marks ?
Thats probably the result of trying to shave virtually unshavable
skin. Then perhaps he has used a powder hair remover, and it has
severely burned his face and neck. You think Scandanavians have
"sensitive skin" ? Watch many black man try to keep a clean shaven
look.. You'll find out why there is such a tradition.

But, giving sympathy to out Scandanavian friends now... thats not much
better. Us English and Southern Europeans have it much easier with
somewhat oilier skin.

I like a clean shaven man's face. I shave. But, I dont have the heart
to cause someone pain for nothing.
