not all secular music is bad!

Dee, 
you must remember that maybe mainstream is "nice" to you
but not something that is good for the church.  Listening
to that type of music, (wordly) "blows your witness out of
the water"(phrase my Bro-in-law uses) when others around you
hear it.  This can go for Jars of clay too!  Your at a stop
light with windows down and music on, people next to you see
the "pentecostal look" but hear the music and possibly not
the words.  What does this say to them, ecspecially if they
know what a Apostolic is suppose to be like?

As for your comment about listening to Wordly music but 
ignoring the words, what is stopping your mind from
taking in these things?  It is scientific fact that you
can bring things in without conciously knowing it.
