There were different "apostoles" of pentecost that had their own feelings
on certain issues. The idea that the Baptism of the Holy Spirit was
essential was clearly brought into focus by G. T. Haywood of the PAW. Frank
Ewart taught along similar lines, although not as directly. Howard Goss was
more accomodating to the view that the work of God begins in one's life at
repentence and Baptism inwater and Spirit are steps that will come in the
person's life because of obedience. Other interesting thoughts of his were
in the early part of his Pentecostal ministry he didn't like hand clapping
in worship because it was something saved and unsaved could do alike with
ne difference in anointing.
