You brought up an interesting point here. In the early days of Pentecost
there were a number of trinitarians who were convinced of Jesus' Name
Baptism, but had not received the revelation of Oneness.

(Theoretically) How would the Fundamental Doctrine apply if, a trinitarian
minister saw the truth of baptism in Jesus' Name, received the Holy Ghost,
and led his church into the same thing. What if he showed up on our
doorstep and wanted to join the UPCI? Would the fundamental doctrine open
the door for him, or would the Articles of Faith shut it? I know this is
speculative but the way you worded your answer brought it to mind. If
anyone else knows of any examples of this, or related feel free to also
respond.
