Actually I heard that some scientist's are trying to tie this in with 
the "evolution theory". They are *speculating* (personally I think a big
leap) that evidence of the bacteria on Mars may indicate that life on
earth may have initially started on Mars. That is a meteor (or something)
carrying bacteria from Mars, landed on earth, bring forth organisms. I
think, *very unlikely*. Perhaps their just trying to get public attention.
