I agree, but on a fine point, only man is *DOCUMENTED* scripturally to
have been made in God's image.  Any extra-terrestrial life forms that
may or may not exist are not mentioned in the Bible because they have
no effect upon our salvation.  This does not mean that such life does
not exist, nor does it mean that it does exist, but it is, as you
said, irrelevant.  

Because of this irrelevance, I feel that if extra-terrestrial life
does exist, humanity will not make contact with it until after the
church is taken home, so it will never have any effect on church
salvation.  If, say for instance, Klingons exist, God's plan for them
would be revealed to them by God, and we (the church) would not be
part of it!
