I recall someone posting about how they were married and baptized on
the same day.  I thought that was really neat, so imagine my pleasure
when I learned that a new convert family at our church has plans to be
married this Saturday, then baptized this Sunday!

The church is pitching in to help out to make this a special weekend
for them i.e. baking a cake, getting them a nice room :-) after the
wedding, etc.  I'll be doing the photography -- my first wedding shoot
in about five years.  The only equipment I've replaced from the fire so
far has been a camera body and lens, so Bro Tyler is kindly allowing me
the use of his monster electronic flash.

Pray for Melinda and Ernie and their children Shawn and Cory has they
embark on this exciting new journey in their lives.  BONUS: their home
is just a stone's throw from the property the church is purchasing!
