tooo many messages on standards

We certainly had a ton of mail -- so much, in fact, that Tyler and I
began discussing how we could try to cut down on the volume of mail
that goes out.  Some of you even received some reject letters on your
messages: Tyler and I have decided to become slightly more stringent on
the messages we allow.

I also suggested that we limit messages to H-F to 25 each day.  Tyler
doesn't see a problem with large numbers of messages.  I agree that for
people like Tyler, me, and Bro R. Brown with his 2 gig mail spool :-)
this isn't a problem.  But I also realize that many (most?) people on
this list don't check email everyday and don't have huge amounts of
space to queue messages to.

Any suggestions from the list members?  We're here to serve.
