I can't agree with you more, especially having faced an organizational split
in 1993 over various issues.  If we do not examine, and have a sound defense
for the Biblical standards that we teach, we become prey to the principle,
and spirit of 'gradualism.'  Before we know it the organization we once knew
is.....unknowable and unrecognizable.
