BTW: I refered to Bro. Jeff Arnold in my mail to Bro. Richard.
Bro. Arnold is one of my favorite preachers.  He preached many times
at the church where I was brought into contact with true Christians,
and was baptized and received the Holy Ghost.  Bro. Arnold, along with
Bro. Gosey, Bro. Pewterman, Bro. Bill Davis, and others, were very
strong influences on my early attempt to find God.  

Bro. Arnold was the best because I, an ex New Yorker of only 1 year,
could *REALLY* relate to him, also an ex New York City boy.

Bro. Gosey was probably right behind him because of his scholarship
and knowledge of the scriptures.  Bro. Robert Baer is the closest
person we have to fill the void he left behind.  

But, again I say, Bro. Arnold was the one I could really relate to.
When I was just another long haired drug crazed hippie, Bro. Arnold
sat with me in Denny's more than once and talked about the wonders of
God.  It made me hungry for more than just a Denny-burger!  Taste and
see that the LORD is good!  

This was in 1978, if you want a time frame.
