Amen! Bro. Wright preached a great message last Thursday about that
subject. He preached that we are all lost. We are still in need of a
savior. We are "saved" only as we rest in His arms. If we take
ourselves out of Him we are not saved, we are without God. It was a
terrific message. This takes all the pressure out of living with God.
It is always God's spirit that works in my life. I will never be so
spiritual that I can do anything without Him.

It's so easy to forget that lesson when circumstances are going right.
Soon a trial comes that shows me my humanity. If I have forgotten
that I really am human I become devastated that I am who I am. If I
have remembered that it is God who works through me both to will and
to do of His good pleasure I have no problem in coming face-to-face
with my humanity. I only want to walk with Him!

Praise God,
