Bro. Watson:

I respectfully must disagree with you. The Bible specifically recommends
corporal punishment for rebelliousness in children. Most of the problems I
have had in my life were the result of my unsaved parents not disciplining
me to remove rebellion, but because I annoyed them.

We have several examples in scripture where authority were ignored or
disobeyed to preserve offspring. I would truly pray and seek God before
making the decision to have kids and raise contrary to the Bible.
