Bro. Jerry,

I too was involved with the Cub Scouts when I was young. I wasn't a 
member very long, but when I went to the meetings I remember that they 
were "healthy" (i.e. no bad junk goin' on). In fact, we started every 
meeting with a prayer- and this Cub Scout group was not affiliated with 
my church. Also, the Boy Scouts have always taken a firm stance against 
somewhat "worldly" attractions. They seem to be always interested in 
going out and exploring nature and the beauty God created. After all, you 
don't usually hear of groups of Boy Scouts hanging out in the streets and 
going to discos.
