Not that this Mai-Tai guy (or whatever his name is) is the messiah or
anything, but the date of Messiah's arrival being unknown isn't entirely
without precedent:

  But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which
  are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.  -- Mark 13:32 (KJV)
