Actually, I believe Saul said (in the original language) "Who art thou, Jehovah?"
Jews in the OT learned to describe the Great I AM with particular character traits, always preceding such
traits with "Jehovah", as in Jehovah-Nissi (God is my banner), Jehovah-Jireh (God is my provider), and so on.
When Saul asked, "Who art thou, Lord?" he was asking what characteristic God was portraying.
I am Jesus. Jesus=Jeshua=Joheshuah (a misspelled Hebrew orginal) = *Salvation*
Jehovah said, "I am Jehovah-Jeshua... God is my salvation." And, of course, He also revealed His true Name,
which, BTW encompasses ALL of God's characteristics.
Praise the Name of Jesus! It is POWERFUL!
