Neither does God expect us to play the part of the king of the Medes
and the Persians, whose law changeth not!  If we then were to speak
contradiction unrescindable, we are hopelessly lost forever.  

But we CAN change!  That is the very nature of repentence.  Remission
is made possible through the grace of Him who shed his precious blood
for us, hanging shamefully on a tree!  Eternal life with HIm then
becomes a possibility and a promise, if we will only receive [the Holy
Ghost].
