Is someone under the impression that there is Pentecost (from a
biblical standpoint) which is not of the "Oneness variety" ?

Sees to me that on the day of Pentecost, those who received light
worshipped Jesus Christ as unique and singular deity.

When I read the Bible, it seems like they baptized in the name of the
Lord Jesus Christ, for the remission of sins.

Seems like they all spoke with other tongues as the Spirit gave the
utterance, and believed that they were receiving the person of God in
the HolyGhost which the world had seen and the Apostles had known in
Jesus Christ.

I don't remember where the Apostles preached any other gospel, but I
DO perceive where they warned concerning the evident commoness of
variations:

28 Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over
the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church
of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood. 29 For I know
this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among
you, not sparing the flock. 30 Also of your own selves shall men
arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.
31 Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years I
ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears. - Acts 20

"As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other
gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed." -
Gal 2:9

"But if any man seem to be contentious, we have no such custom ,
neither the churches of God" - 1 Cor 11:16

"Lo, this only have I found, that God hath made man upright; but they
have sought out many inventions." -Eccl 7:29

I dont see where the "variety" comes in.

PENTECOST is not trinitarian. To use the term "Pentecost" in refering
to religious activity which is glossolia oriented but regardless of
godhead theology is abusive of the scripture, for the scripture
reveals the CENTRAL message of the identity of Jesus Christ preached
on the day of Pentecost.

As Bishop Johnny James said so aptly: "The tail goes with the hide"

"Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have
been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving. Beware lest any man
spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of
men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ."
- Col 2:7-8

To all the A/G folks reading.. if this offends you toss it away. many
have done as much with their own Bibles, and with the rich nurturing
of the Holy Ghost expended from heaven for them for many years. Now is
the time for choosing, not later, when its too late. Lets revel in
choice! Some will choose to pay heed to the Apostles, and others will
choose less wisely. Let all be delivered, and FREE to choose!

"And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free ."
- John 8:32

But, free for what ?

Now the just shall live by faith: but if [any man] draw back , my
soul shall have no pleasure in him. But we are not of them who draw
back unto perdition ; but of them that believe to the saving of
the soul. Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the
evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good
report. - Heb 10:38-11:2

Free to obey God, or free to draw back unto perdition. The choice is
yours. The time is drawing near that God will no longer permit half
hearted doctrine and ignorant confusion of terms to clutter the path
of his servants.
