We new of a young housewife who was surprised one day to answer the phone
and hear a man say. Madam, this is the early morning local radio show. If
you can answer our  question correctly we will give you $100. Now can you
tell me who was the postmaster in Isenhower"s administration?
She stammered and then said yes she could for it was her grandfather.
Later that evening she was telling her husband about it, and said just
when I needed money for your birthday gift.

Several weeks later he told her how much he appreciated that new shotgun
he had wanted so bad. Then he confessed that he had put a friend up to
doing the calling and posing as the radio host because she had said  they
couldn't afford 
a new shotgun and he wanted it so much!!!
The story didn't say what it really cost him, LATER.

What want we men do to get our way!!!!!!.

OK, but did you hear what a young man sais to his girlfriend. After we
are married it will seem funny not having someone to buy candy and
presents for.


I knew none of would have heard these , I found them in a 1960 Readers
Digest.
Pretty dated huh? Most of you weren't around then.
