Pastor Rogers preached on EXCELLENT message on how the church should
INTERCEDE on behalf of the world.  He used as his text the incident
in Exodus 22.  Moses is up on the mountain with God.  The Israelite
camp wonders what happens to Moses, talks the assistant pastor into
allowing them to melt down the jewelry, make the golden calf which
they begin dancing around half-nekkid.

God is MAD and wants to wipe out the entire camp.  But Moses BOLDLY
intercedes!  Wow!!

Likewise, we should intercede for this world, asking for the Lord's
mercy that he should delay (!?) his coming so that more people can
hear of the Good News.  We should not be so holy and self-righteous
that we have an attitude of calling down fire from heaven on those
who wrong us.  THANK GOD FOR HIS MERCY!!!  \o/

We'll also be baptizing people the next two Sundays, which is really
cool considering we baptized four people the other week.

REVIVAL IS IN CHAMPAIGN-URBANA ILLINOIS!!!!
