Fasting

Praise the Lord,

The previous church that my family attended practiced consistant fasting.
When we had Crusades we had perhaps a 6 week fast and prayer chain where
some number of folks were fasting each day (normally once a week each :-)
and various folks were praying each hour, 24 hours a day. While the church
that we now attend is a much smaller congregation, the same attempt to
cover the entire week is made.

As I have been taught, fasting is essential to our Christian walk - Sister
Mary Burnett provided some good scripture supporting this need. God bless!
