I am back already making some more thoughts on fasting.
To answer mike, yes keep the discussion open to all of
us, or at least me, I am interested. I have fasted a few
times and have found it to be a very hard thing to do.
(I am a manager of a fast food.)
I have found that whenever I do fast that the devil tries
to attack me. He conquered me once, or it could of been
my forgetfulness, I popped some food in my mouth without
thinking and then realized what I had done too late.
( I could of went on with the fast but did not for reasons
unknown)
I think some of the main points we need to look at when fasting
though is this:
	1. The reason we are doing it
	2. If you are doing it and the whole time you are
wishing you could eat, you might as well
		give up.
	3. As the Bible says, dont look like you are fasting,
it is suppose to be done quietly. no sad look
on the face no matter how good that pie smells!
	4. I personally think, and I think it goes with the
verse that talks about number 3, that we should
not brag about our fasting accomplishements.
Maybe it is just me. I know though that when
I heard a sister once talk about her 3 week
fast, I felt as though she was trying to
impress people. I think like I stated in 3,
		it should be done quietly.
	5. Pray while fasting.
	6. Ditto number 5 :)
	7. Thank the Lord for whatever you are fasting for.
