    Ron Wyatt had been very involved with Noah's Ark, Mt. Sinai, The Ark of 
the Covenant
and other archaeological discoveries, some of which have been quite 
controversial..

Ron Wyatt passed away this morning (August 4, 1999) at a Memphis Hospital 
after battling cancer for several months.  He was surrounded by family and 
friends during his final hours, and fell asleep in Jesus at 5:41 a.m. 
Central Time.  Bill Fry (moderator of this list and Wyatt Research 
Associate) arrived in Tennessee yesterday and was able to spend some time 
with Ron before he passed away. He is staying in Tennessee for a few days 
to assist the family as needed.

Viewing will be held Thursday evening from 4 to 8 pm at the Oaks and 
Nichols Funeral Home in Columbia, Tennessee, and the funeral service will 
be Friday afternoon at 2:30 pm, also at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, those who wish to may make a donation to continue the 
research that Ron loved so dearly.
