knowing this, that our old man was crucified with him, that the body of sin
might be done away with, so that we would no longer be in bondage to sin.
(Ro 6:6 WEB)

He died for all, that those who live should no longer live to themselves,
but to him who for their sakes died and rose again. (II Cor 5:15 WEB)

I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I that live, but
Christ living in me. That life which I now live in the flesh, I live by
faith in the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself up for me. (Gal 2:20
WEB)

Forasmuch then as Christ suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves also
with the same mind; for he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from
sin; that you no longer should live the rest of your time in the flesh to
the lusts of men, but to the will of God. (I Pet 4:1-2 WEB)

1My little children, I write these things to you so that you may not sin. If
anyone sins, we have a Counselor with the Father, Jesus Christ, the
righteous. (I John 2:1 WEB)

I have hidden your word in my heart,
That I might not sin against you.
(Ps 119:11 WEB)

If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in
us. (I John 1:8 WEB)

You know that he was revealed to take away sins, and in him is no sin.
Whoever remains in him doesn't sin. Whoever sins hasn't seen him, neither
knows him. Little children, let no one lead you astray. He who practices
righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. He who sins is of the
devil, for the devil sins from the beginning. To this end the Son of God was
revealed, that he might destroy the works of the devil. (I John 3:5-8 WEB)

So, when one says "i do not sin", is this pride?
Or is one saying that one has faith in Jesus Christ? Whoever remains in Him
does not sin. That's the rub. How to 'remain in Him'. How? By Faith.

But, I don't think we should say, "i do not sin".
