He can, I can't

He can, I can't.

Who is 'He'? 'He' is God. God can, I can't.

When I try to do something 'in my own strength', I fail. That is my works.
God wants me to do things in His strength, so that I can say 'God did it,
not me'.

I speak like men because of the weakness of your flesh, for as you presented
your members as servants to uncleanness and to wickedness upon wickedness,
even so now present your members as servants to righteousness for
sanctification. (Ro 6:19 WEB)

Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is
stronger than men. (I Cor 1:25 WEB)

He has said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made
perfect in weakness." Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my
weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me. (I Cor 12:9 WEB)

So, when I am weak, He is strong. I want to do His will. When I do His will,
then I am free from my own self and my works. The best that I can do is as
filthy rags in the sight of God. But when God does the work, then I can
boast that God doeth the work, not me.

Where then is the boasting? It is excluded. By what manner of law? Of works?
No, but by a law of faith. (Ro 3:27 WEB)

For if Abraham was justified by works, he has something to boast about, but
not toward God. (Ro 4:2 WEB)

that no flesh should boast before God. (I Cor 1:29 WEB)

that, according as it is written, "He who boasts, let him boast in the
Lord." (I Cor 1:31 WEB)

for by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves,
it is the gift of God, 9not of works, that no one would boast. 10For we are
his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared
before that we would walk in them.(Eph 2:8-10 WEB)

So, I can boast in the Lord that He doeth the works in me, and not I, for I
am nothing in His sight.

I must work the works of him who sent me, while it is day. The night is
coming, when no one can work. (John 9:4 WEB)

Jesus answered them, "I told you, and you don't believe. The works that I do
in my Father's name, these testify about me. (John 10:25 WEB)

Jesus answered them, "I have shown you many good works from my Father. For
which of those works do you stone me?" (John 10:32 WEB)

If I don't do the works of my Father, don't believe me. (John 10:37 WEB)

Don't you believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? The words
that I tell you, I speak not from myself; but the Father living in me does
his works. (John 14:10 WEB)

I want to be like Jesus. As Jesus did the work of the Father, so I want to
do the work of the Father. I want the Father to work in me. I want to do the
Will of God. For by doing the Will of God, I will be doing the work that God
wants me to do.

As Thou wilt, what Thou wilt, when Thou wilt.

God can, I can't.

This is the only way that I can be Holy. I have Faith in the work that Jesus
did on the cross and I have Faith in Jesus, that He came and died for my
sins and that He rose from the grave into everlasting life that I may have
life also. God has imparted His Holiness to me because of the shed Blood of
Jesus, my Saviour. All by Faith. Saved by Grace through Faith. I cannot be
saved or have Holiness any other way. I cannot do anything to earn or merit
Holiness or Salvation. It is all in Jesus, all by Faith.
